Listen to the Universe

This morning I met with a friend who runs a successful tech business. Something he said clasped my attention:

“I’m working on getting better at listening to the Universe”.

A business gets a cash injection days before bankruptcy. A sales person leaves their job just as another company needs one.

You can call these moments serendipity, chance, or you can dispel them as nothing more than blind luck.

But perhaps they are a sign from the Universe.

The more yoga I do the more I realise how deeply limiting our rationalistic logical view of the world is.

It’s also boring.

I don't believe in God. I don't believe in anything I can't experience myself. But I do wonder in amazement at all of the times the stars seem to align.

So yeah, I’m going to take his lead and start listening a little bit harder to the Universe, too.
